Important Installation Tips
  • Consult the installation guide
  • Consult the product sheet.
  • Essential to start with an air space between the shingles and the substrate
  • First row requires 2 layers of shingles
  • Always leave a bit of distance vertically between the shingles (1/16 – 1/8”)
  • Make sure joints do not line up over subsequent rows
  • Only use 2 fasteners per shingle aiming to penetrate at least ¾” into the substrate
Warranty

We believe so strongly in the superior quality of our kiln-dried white cedar shingles that we back them with a 40-year warranty against wood rot. Proof of purchase is required, and shingles must have been installed according to the specifications in our installation guide.
